Why Irish eyes are smiling

Brad is on vacation in Europe. His first Destination is Rome, While visiting St. Peter`s, he notices a small table with a golden telephone on it. He stops a Young priest and asks him what the phone is for. The priest tells him that is a direct line to God, but each call costs EURO 1,000,000. Brad is amazed. he can´t possibly afford to pay so much
.As he makes his way through Europe, Brad sees golden telephones everywhere in the churches and cathedrals he visits.and the answer to his question is always the same: " it`s a direct line to God, but each call costs EURO 100,000."
Brad finishes his European tour in Ireland. While attending Mass in a small village church, he sees another golden telephone. This time, however, a sign reads:"Direct line to heaven - 25 Cents."
"Father" Brad says to the old priest, "I´ve seen these telephones all over Europe, but the price was always EURO 100,000. Why does a call here costs only 25 Cents?"
The priest smiles and replies," My son, you´re in Ireland now. It´s a local call."
