Gone stupid

A man with both of his ears burned goes to a doctor.
"How did this happen?" asks the doctor.
"I was ironing when the telephon rang," says the man. "and I put the iron to my ear instead of the telephone."
"Oh, I see," says the doctor. What happened to the other ear?"
"The bastard called again!" says the man.
